ISIS have reportedly confirmed the death of Turki al-Binali after an onslaught of airstrikes from Russia, the US, and the British RAF since the Manchester attack last week.

He was a chief religious advisor to the hate-filled extremist group whose arrival in Syria on February 28, 2014, was celebrated by ISIS militants.

Al-Binali had been in line to replace ISIS’ second-in-command Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, who died last month.

A year and a half into his studies, al-Binali’s home in Sharjah was raided by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and he was arrested and deported to Bahrain.

The news was reported on Al Arabiya’s website this afternoon.

The US classified Turki Mubarak Abdullah Ahmad Al-Binali as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist on February 11, 2016. The UN added him to its ISIL Sanctions List on April 20, 2016.

The Islamist preacher’s citizenship was taken away by the Bahrain Ministry of Interior in 2015.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, another high-ranking ISIS leader, was critically injured in a coalition airstrike in January.

A key communications officer, a.k.a. the “liar-in-chief” of ISIS was killed yesterday.
